Demonstration of quantum correlations that are incompatible with absoluteness of measurement

چکیده
Exploiting the tension between two dynamics of quantum theory (QT) in Wigner's Friend thought experiment, we point out that standard QT leads to inconsistency observed probabilities measurement outcomes superobservers: Wigner and his Student. To avoid such inconsistent predictions QT, hypothesize distinct perspectives. The first one is ``absoluteness (AoM),'' is, any process an absolute event irrespective other observers yields a single outcome. ``nonabsoluteness (NoM)'' as negation AoM. We introduce operational approach, with friend then spatially separated friends, test validity these perceptions without assuming details experiment. First, show set obtainable for NoM strictly larger than provide simplest scenario so far, involving preparation unitary operation by superobserver can demonstrate correlations incompatible Remarkably, observers, present strict hierarchy among sets following three theories: classical or local realist, AoM, NoM.

Experimental demonstration of nonbilocal quantum correlations
Quantum mechanics admits correlations that cannot be explained by local realistic models. The most studied models are the standard local hidden variable models, which satisfy the well-known Bell inequalities. To date, most works have focused on bipartite entangled systems. We consider correlations between three parties connected via two independent entangled states. We investigate the new type ...

متن کاملAre general quantum correlations monogamous?
Quantum entanglement and quantum nonlocality are known to exhibit monogamy; that is, they obey strong constraints on how they can be distributed among multipartite systems. Quantum correlations that comprise and go beyond entanglement are quantified by, e.g., quantum discord. It was observed recently that for some states quantum discord is not monogamous. We prove, in general, that any measure ...
متن کاملContinuous quantum measurement with independent detector cross correlations.
We investigate the advantages of using two independent, linear detectors for continuous quantum measurement. For single-shot measurement, the detection process may be quantum limited if the detectors are twins. For weak continuous measurement, cross correlations allow a violation of the Korotkov-Averin bound for the detector's signal-to-noise ratio. The joint weak measurement of noncommuting ob...
